A piece of the past

Well well... I won't be updating my bloggie for quite a while coz TRIALS IS HERE!!!! ( I'm so dead...) So anyway, I'll just put this photo here to entertain you... Hehe... I mean, you can stare at this photo for hours and still feel umm... happy! Look! Cute little children! Haha...Can you guess how old we are?



Anyway... This photo was taken when I was in standard ONE. Yup! Loooong time ago!!
I'm SO glad I found it! We look so cuuuute in it!!! ahem!!

Near death experience

Well, I bet you were expecting something more horrifying, but well, live with me and my dramatic self for a moment will ya?

I had a near death experience with cockroaches.

(laughs) I know you're laughing. So I'm laughing along... Hehe...

Anyway, no, I'm not exactly afraid of cockroaches. It's my younger sis. She's the scaredy cat. Nope, not me.

Yesterday night, we got hungry, and coz parents were already sleeping(it was 11 something) we couldn't ask them to go buy FOOD! *drools*
SO, we went downstairs to the kitchen... My sis was suggesting I fry some egg.. I was thinking, okay.. Why not! and when I switched on the lights, we saw 2 HUGE cockroaches.

I felt pretty normal seeing them, just a little disgusted maybe and wanted them to DIE. DIE!!! My sis ran away... See, I told you she's a scaredy cat.. I had nothing to smash them with, so I was in a dilemma. There was NO WAY I was going to smash them with my leg, EWW!! so I started thinking.. Then, a fabulous idea popped into my head...

Newspaper!

I would have used OLD newspaper, but the stupid cockroaches were blocking the way. They stare at me and were screaming: "Cross at your own risk! I DARE YOU..."
Stupid cockroaches... They didn't know what they were facing...

So, we(I forced my sis to help, at one point of your life, you HAVE to face your fears!!) went around looking for the newspaper, hoping it wasn't in my parents room...
In the end, found it and took out the Classified section.
"You want the classified?" my sis asked me, confused...(aww...)
"No, I DON"T WANT the classified, DUH!!"
we laughed.

My sis wanted to abandon me and leave me to the job, but I pulled her along.
"Moral support! MORAL SUPPORT!!"
Then, when we were waiting for the right moment, my younger sis spreaded her fear to me and I hesitated. All these thoughts came into my head.
What if it doesn't die even after I hit it and it climbs over my foot!?! NO! What if? What if!??!
Then, when I told my sis, she just HAS to make it worse by saying: "What if it flies?"
"Cockroaches can't fly." (I'm not sure, but well, it seemed like a comforting thought then!)
"Then how did it get on your leg that time?"
(There was once one really really small cockroach managed to get on my legs WHICH were on the chair... How? I still wonder... I actually thought it was a loose tread, but when I looked down, imagine the horror!)

Darn. See what I mean?? She affected me and I couldn't smash those puny cockroaches anymore...SO...

We ran upstairs.

Suddenly we didn't feel that hungry anymore... Haha...

You were lucky, cockroaches... We'll see if you can escape me again NEXT TIME, when my younger sis isn't there...

p.s. She's afraid of bugs, but not of rats. I'm the exact opposite. I mean, bugs are puny! Compared to RATS! (Darn rats... ate my doll's eye out[a few years back]... I shall have my revenge! One day... One day... when I get rid of my fear of you... Haha... Or maybe I'll ask my sis to do it FOR me.)

Cockroaches? Easy peasy.
Rats? We'll have to wait and see... I'll probably be running away. :p

p.p.s. My sis also wrote about it in her blog, though her is a little more fictional. Trying to add some spice in the story.

p.p.p.s. My sis screamed, but I didn't, just ONCE when a cockroach ran out of nowhere. It was the element of surprise that made me scream, NOT the cockroach. Just to make things clear... Hehe...

~And that concludes the story of my near death experience~ (I'm exaggerating...)

Ballet Concert

Well well, our ballet concert this year was GREAT fun! Took many photos and am trying to get ALL of them now... Hehe...

Anyway, went for the Saturday concert as well(no, i wasn't performing) with my ballet friends to well, have some fun! haha... We screamed a lot and i think we kinda disturbed the people in front. SORRY! Opps?
So, i asked Lydia to come along and told her not to tell anyone. Wanted to give Charmaine and Carmen a surprise. They were surprised alright.. haha...
Well, during Friday's rehersal, i was telling them:"Surprise on Saturday!" just to get them all excited... Hehe.. naughty me. Then on Saturday morning..."Surprise tonight!" They kept pestering me to tell them, but duh i didn't! It wouldn't be a surprise if I did right?!?!

When they saw Lydia on Saturday, they screamed and screamed and boy were they loud. haha..
"LYDIA!!!!"
"Li Ee!!! I can't believe you didn't tell us!! This is the surprise!?!?"
Then Charmaine goes: "Lydia!! You told me you weren't coming!!!"(scream)
Lydia:"It's a surprise right?"

Haha...

Had loads of fun that night. Got to go on stage to collect my prize too! Hehe... :p

After the concert, we took many many photos with Lydia and even one with our ballet teacher (Ms. Mak). It was a day to remember! :)


Sunday! The day I get to perform. Our item was "Serenity".
After I arrived at the centre, I got touched up by my friends(haha..) and TA-DAA! Hehe... It was really heavy makeup coz otherwise it wouldn't be able to be seen on stage. My eye shadow was done by my elder sis(it was actually her first time) and everyone loved it! Wow. She has talent! Hehe...

Once again, we took MANY PHOTOS in the dressing room and a group picture outside(will have to get that from Sara...) We were told to take care of the little kids in our dance. They were about 8 to 10. VERY cute! :)

We snuck out to watch the concert from the sides of the stage(we're not supposed to, but couldn't resist in the end) and WOW. Loved "Tell Him"...was a GREAT dance. ALL the dancers were SO Good and so emotional and WOW. I didn't manage to watch the ones before that, but i had already watched them during the rehersal on Friday. "Little Swans" performed by little kids used the music from Swan Lake. It was SOOOOO CUTE!!!! The ending pose was a little boy holding this little girl. WOW. CUTE-ness!! :p

Also loved "Because I Am Girl" which uses a Korean song(can't remember where I've heard it). It was right after our item. I LOVED IT SO MUCH!! They were GOOD! WOW WOW WOW. Words cannot describe how mesmerizing they were. Haha...

The really really sad part of Sunday's concert was the finale. Two girls fell! OMG!!! And it was their solo parts!! I gasped(literally) when I saw the first girl fall. She was pirouetting and pirouetting and then, suddenly she lost her balance and fell... !!! GASP!!! Didn't see the second girl fall though. I wasn't looking.
Heard the girl cried. Poor thing. If I was her, I would cry too...

He said it was the size of pebbles. Not very big (duh! or we'd all be taking cover now...) and it didn't hurt if you got hit by one.

Anyway, I sure do hope it goes away soon...(the haze) somehow...
Then we wouldn't have to wear a mask everywhere, (you don't wanna get lung cancer now, do you?) close all the windows and doors, making the rooms so stuffy and hot AND switch on the air conditioner to cool the room down...

You can actually smell smoke and taste it in your mouth. Ugh... Yuck..

Did you see the haze in school today? It was THAT thick!! It was like we were in Genting Highlands only not! Wow! How bad is that!?!
Teacher was even a little blurry in front of the class... yes, it was THAT bad.

Well, at least I'm not going to school tomorrow...
Going to stay at home where I hope I'll be SAFE~
