AS results!!!

Yes, it's out. We were expecting to get it around noon, but at 10.30am when we were nicely drawing our graphs during physics, someone knocked on the door and came in. He had a stack of papers in his hands... Oh no.

I was saying "No way. No way." over and over again. I wasn't prepared for it! I really wasn't! We were all going crazy. (screaming our heads off like it's the end of the world) After a while, he asked if we wanted our results.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!" we screamed.

Then he asked whether we wanted him to come back later. Lilian and I screamed "YES!!" but some others screamed "Nooo!!" Haha... So much for that.

He started calling out names. Results were given out in alphabetical order. I was shaking. Was so afraid I'd get disappointed again. I mean, all this while, I've never gotten what I want to get. NEVER. I've never been happy when the results come back. NEVER.

The result was on a piece of A4 paper! It wasn't even in an envelope! GAHHHH!!! Thought I could delay knowing or burn the little envelope without checking my results. Haha... One after another classmates went up to get their results.
I squeezed Lilian's hand till it went white. XD (sorry, lil!) Then, he called my name.

*suspense*

I didn't want to read my results just yet, but I couldn't help it. It was glance, aaaa, grab paper, go back to seat, continue shaking for another half an hour. (after effect) Haha.. So yes, I got all As.

Am a little happy now when I think about it, but right after I got my results, I could only feel relieved. Not happy, just relieved. Relieved that I didn't once again disappoint myself and everyone else. Finally, I've lived up to my own expectations. Finally. Finally.

Now to worry about A2.

Done with first book of the year!

Yes, it's true.

I stayed up till 2.30 in the morning yesterday reading my first book of the year!! You know what books can do to a person... Especially when you're about to finish reading it. Couldn't put it down! Hehe...

The book was A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. I actually borrowed the book from Lilian... LAST year. Finally took it out to read. Sorry I was holding it for so long, lil! Okay okay, I know you probably read it when you were 7 or something, but I hadn't! It's a good thing I finally did though, cause 'twas a good book. Now I'm eager to read up on tesseracts! Well, not now... When I've got some free time in my hands, I'll look it up and read for hours.

Maybe.

Anyway, now to go hunting for my next book! My next adventure!! :)

12 days into the new year already!

So it's been 30 days since I last wrote, which means it's been a whole month! WOW! Haha... And finally, much to umm.. my crazy fans' (I MUST have some!) relief, I figured this blog's dead enough to be revived again! Hehe... sorry, everyone.

Anyway, last year end, I had a wonderful Christmas, (Christmas eve party was fun fun fun! and YUMMY FOOD!) and a great new year's celebration despite all that stressing over applications. *shudders* Horrifying experience. XD Luckily I had Chris, Darell and Sing Kwan to count on. Thanks you guys! (especially Chris. ^^ You're great~!!)

THIS YEAR-- *whispers* can you believe it? It's a new year!! WHOA! After 12 days into the new year, I can still hardly believe last year passed. XD A little naive I guess. Heh. Last year just went WHOOOOSH! and it was gone. *sniff sniff* goodbye 2006. *waves*

Well, one big thing would be the exams. A2 in another 4 months...

4 months? FOUR MONTHS!?!?! This can't be happening!!! Didn't occur to me that it was so soon till... now. Crap. Speaking of A-levels exams, AS results will be out soon!! *screams and runs around in circles* (I sound like a chicken gone mad. XD) Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.. Haven't exactly had good experience with major exam results so far...somehow. Hopefully it'll be different this time. Hopefully.

Another big thing would be everyone leaving... *sob* Slow down, time! SLOW DOWN!

Anyway, new year resolutions! Do you have any?
I don't usually make new year resolutions, but this year, I made a few.. One of which is to read more books! I realised I read VERY FEW books last year...(no, I'm not about to tell you just how many that is...) and was shocked when I counted. Did I really read so few? This year, I'm going to make sure I won't be disappointed when I start counting at the end of the year. Gosh! Where am I going to get the time? So, get some books out of your shelf for little me to read!! Yeah! (especially Darell and Chris, I know you've got loads... XD) But don't give me all of them at once! I can't read that fast!!! Mind you, I'm a SLOW reader. VERY slow actually. Hehe..

So here we go! 2007!!! Give me what you've got! I'm READY! ^^
