Happy Chinese New Year!
It's that time of year again, when we all feel obliged to wear red. And for the 2nd year, I will not be home to celebrate cny. Tsk. I did however go to Coventry this weekend to visit my sister, and spend some time with her because it's always good to be with family over the holidays. Well, sort of holidays. :)
Anyway, read Stardust over the weekend. Loved it very much. Somehow, books have a funny way of pulling you away from the real world and into the world inside the book. I like that very much and sometimes wish I didn't have to come out again. But I have finished the book and only my silly imagination of witches, fallen stars, talking trees and magic can bring me back into the world of Faerie, and on to a new adventure. I should hope to dream of them tonight. :)
*sigh* School on the first day of Chinese New Year. Thankfully, I've only got one lecture and no dance rehearsals! :D

' 'Scuse me,' said a small and hairy voice in his ear, 'but would you mind dreamin' a bit quieter? Your dreams is spillin' over into my dreams, and if it's one thing I've never been doin' with, it's dates. William the Conker, ten sixty-six, that's as far as I go, and I'd swap that for a dancing mouse.'
'Mm?' said Tristran.
'Keep it down,' said the voice. ' If you don't mind.'
'Sorry,' said Tristran, and his dreams after that were of the dark.
