Charmaine
Charmaine is one of my ballet friends. She was the shortest once upon a time, but now, she's caught up to Carmen(haha...) and whoppie! However she's still the skinniest but that's got nothing to do with what happened last Saturday(was too lazy to write then).
We went for lessons like usual and at the end of the lesson, we had to do pointe work. When we went to our bags, Charmaine(now also known as susu-you can check it out in her blog) whispered to me that she had bought new shoes. You see, she lost hers after we had our ballet mock exam.
Funny how someone's shoes can end up in your bag without you noticing... yup! When i took our 'my' pointe shoes, I realised that it was a little too pinkish and narrow to be my shoes...
"Charmaine, are these your shoes?" I asked uncertainly.
She took one look at it and started screaming
"Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!!!!"
Then, suddenly, "Hey! So where are my shoes??" *gasp* *panic* uh-oh...
Charmaine(I'm soooo sorry! [pointe shoes costs quite a lot]) offered me her new shoes. wow! That was so nice of you Susu.. I didn't want it though. She had gotten 2 and a half B, and if i'm not mistaken, mine is 2 and a half C. so it would be narrower. She insisted me on trying anyway so i did. It was as expected, a little tighter than mine. Then, i asked her if she had break in the shoes and she said a little. But when I tried to bend it, it hardly moved. I can't dance with these!! So, I just had to tell teacher that I didn't have my shoes...
In the end, we asked the reception and she 'magically' produced my pointe shoes. Great.. It has been here all along??
The big question of the day: How did Charmaine's shoes end up in my bag? Our bags weren't even together on the exam day! Weird...
We're dealing with evil forces here people, brace yourselves...haha...
