Nightmare
Yesterday, I had a really really weird and well, kinda...okay, very scary dream (to me).
So anyway, in the dream I was playing with my teeth with my tongue and I felt two of my teeth shake! Oh no! To be precise, those teeth were on the bottom jaw. (I have this metal string? Line? Whatever you call it...on the bottom jaw [on 5 of my teeth] so it won't go out of place. No, I don't wear retainers on the bottom jaw... I do however have retainers for the upper jaw. Oh, so anyway, I had this metal thingy in the dream too... the two teeth were one of those 5 teeth...)
Okay, I know this might not seem scary now, but just wait and see what happens.
Since I didn't want my teeth to fall off (Nooooo...) I tried to push it back in place... It was falling front so I pushed it back to where it belonged. If you didn't get what I mean, umm... leave it.
...
This was when the worst possible thing happened. I just pushed it back when... IT CAME OUT!!! Just slipped right out of their original slots! I mean, I had put no pressure on those teeth when I pushed it. Really! None at all!! It just fell out! GAH!!!!!!! I held the two teeth in my hand and stared. They had came out with the roots and all. (I know how this looks like coz I've got one at home. Sitting innocently in my 'pot' of teeth. Got it from getting my braces- sacrificed 3 'soldiers' for this 'perfect' mouth of teeth I have now. Unfortunately, I only managed to get one. I probably forgot to ask the second time...) Ok, this is kinda illogical because teeth don't fall out if the roots are still in contact but this is a dream, so maybe this happens in dreamland.
Back to the story...
I didn't know what to do! PANIC!!! I tried to put it back in, but it just wouldn't fit nicely! It just... fell... fell out again! *trembles with eyes opened wide, staring at teeth between fingers* Can you imagine that? I had two holes in my...my...mouth! Well, obviously those weren't milk teeth (hello! I’m 17!! Milk teeth?!?! HAH!) , so they won't grow back. What do I do now?!?! I can't live with holes in my mouth!!! The thought of not having teeth at that particular spot forever taunted me. I thought of my orthodontist and seeking her advice... do I get fake teeth?
The end. I don't remember anything after that. Maybe I woke up or had another dream...
And now, the question... what does the dream mean? Am I subconsciously telling myself to take care of my teeth properly so that all that money used for getting my teeth done should not go to waste? Not to mention about 2 years of 'suffering'... (I'm exaggerating. If you want to get braces, just go for it. It’s really quite fine. No biggie.) Is that what it means? Who knows...?
Well, I think it has something to do with a quiz I did before I went to sleep... ah yes, the quiz.
You see, one of my friends sent me this mail saying they have this quiz that will determine your future love life blah blah blah... and I saw the link and it was www.crush007.com which is actually a fake. (I've gotten it once) You answer the quiz; they get all the information about your first crush, your biggest crush, blah blah... and send it to the person who sent you that mail. Yup. Pretty evil. But what does that have to do with the dream right? Okay... there was this question which asked: "what turns you on?" (I answered the quiz to give my friend a good laugh [what with the fake answers and all...]) and I answered:

No, that's not true. Perfect teeth does not turn me on. It was a joke you doink. Though... I would probably be turned off by really really horrible teeth..."Do you have perfect teeth?"
1 Comments:
You've had braces?! That's something I didn't know before... What a friend I am...
Well, I'm 17, and I assure you, I STILL have 2 milk teeth in my mouth of mine... Hah! Bet that's something you don't know of me either!
