I lost 5 bucks to my mum...
I went to KLCC with my mum yesterday and when we passed by Roti Boy, the oh so famous shop of bread, we stopped by to buy some. We picked up 2 muffins, 3 bread, and mum wanted a "Roti Boy". (Any idea why it's called a "Roti Boy"?)
Anyway, mum was asking me if 10 bucks would be enough to cover the bill, I estimated the prices and confidently answered "yes". She disagreed and I asked "Wanna bet?". I was half joking!! Didn't know she would agree to it!!
"Okay, let's bet 5 bucks." I said, confident that I would win. Heck, inside I was screaming "Here comes free money!!!" Hehe...
But when the total came out... I was gapping away, unable to believe my eyes! It was RM10.10!!! Gwah!!! *sob!!* I lost by 10 cents!?!?!! 10 cents cost me 5 bucks... Haha... Later, mum bought a drink and it just so happen to cost 5 bucks.
"This drink tastes extra good..." She said, teasing me. Then she ate her "Roti Boy".
"Even the bread tastes better! That's probably because I got a discount!"
Oh gosh! Haha... Wow. That's some discount... 50% off! *winces* I shouldn't have been so bold! Should've betted 2 bucks, or 3. Haha... Ah well, 5 bucks is nothing compared to having fun with your mum, right? :)
I'm sure she wouldn't have asked for the money, but I paid her anyway this morning.
"Oh! Thank you!" She laughed. Haha! *sobs a little* My money...
I got a haircut today! Hmm... I don't look Li-Ee-ish anymore. Aww darn. (That means I don't look crazy.)
On another matter, just the other day, my math teacher was talking about male chivalry. Not sure how it got to that, but yea. So I said,
"Guys like that don't exist anymore."
And the funny thing is, SHE AGREED! Haha! "Yes, that's very true."
How hilarious. But it's true, isn't it?
