PS, I Love You
*sigh* Read it. It's beautiful~
This novel is about Holly, who struggles through life after her husband, Gerry, loses the fight against brain tumor. Ah... but wait! Gerry helps her along the way! And of course, her family and friends. Before Gerry passed away, he wrote a few letters for her, one for every month, helping her through the year.. How sweet!!, right? Yea, I think so too. :)
Too bad he couldn't write a gezillion letters so she would have one to open every month forever...
Just done reading it after borrowing it from Wan Yie months ago. *laughs* Only got started this week. Thank goodness I'm done with it already though. Who knows when I'll start my studying if I didn't finish it? (Yes, I didn't get started after all... *winces*)
I mean, when you sit down on your bed with a pile of books to study on one side and a STORY BOOK to read on the other... *grins sheepishly* How can you resist the temptation? XD
Anyway, I enjoyed this book a lot. The ending sure wasn't as I expected it to be!! But I guess it's only right to end it that way. :) *laughs* Me and silly love stories. Maybe sometimes, you don't have to fall in love to end up happy.
Besides, it wouldn't be fair to Gerry, would it? *laughs again*
*sigh* One thing stated fairly clearly in the book is, life sure isn't fair. I remember my mum telling me that when I was younger AND angry. But I guess we'll just have to take what we get and live with it, right? Haha~~ Hmm... I love the very last sentence of the novel.
Wow. Do you think it takes courage to live?
*ponders on her own question* I think...I think...I think it does! Yay to all of us who hasn't given up on life. ^^
Lala~~
HAHA! I've never thought about it that way. XD
Hmm... that's about it then. Watched Mission Impossible 3 yesterday. Really good, 'cept for that sign.................. Haha! And dinner was 'spensive! Haha~~ Ah well... Had fun though. :)
PS. I love you!
P.P.S. Haha... that was to everyone. XD

Whatever lay ahead, she knew she would open her heart and follow where it led her.
In the meantime, she would just live.

"What's this?" Denise asked again.
"Holly's theory about the army," Sharon explained.
"And what is it?" Denise asked, intrigued.
"Oh, that fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity."
HAHA! I've never thought about it that way. XD

Excellent book review! Made me wanna read the book. Although the cover draws ogres away from such books. Besides, have tons of books on me to read list and so far the list hasn't budged one bit. Ah well...
Ooooo!! THANKS! *grins*
Oh yea, and they DO have different covers... Haha... If ogres feel that uncomfortable with the one I posted..
