Holidays~
So after concert was over and done with, my daily schedule opened up and I was free practically every day. Well, I am free practically every day now.. XD Haha.. Don't think I'm feeling bored yet though! I mean, there' are loads of things to do!
You can read a book! :)
(I'm always complaining about not having time to read but when the holidays come I never seem to remember about it)
Since "For One More Day" is still stuck with wyie, *sob sob* I decided to read another book I borrowed from her! Sophie Kinsella's "The Undomestic Goddess!"
Well, I love her books. Even though shopaholic Becky gets on my nerves every time. Haha... But I did LOVE every bit of "Can you keep a secret"!!! :)
Anyway, the book's about Samantha, genius lawyer who makes one mistake, which involves 50 million pounds *gasp*, and losses her job. Runs away from reality, and gets hired to be a housekeeper by mistake. Note: she doesn't even know how to toast bread. Let alone use an iron.. HAHA~
Of course, disaster happens, but slowly she learns how to clean a house and COOK! with the help of the oh-so-perfect-guy (the gardener)'s mother.
A single tear rolls down my cheek and I wipe it away roughly. I'm not going to cry in front of Iris.
'I don't know who I am.' I exhale, more calmly. 'Or what my goal is...or where I'm headed in life. Or anything.'
My energy's gone and I sink down on the dry grass. A few moments later Iris comes and squats down beside me.
'It doesn't matter,' she says, her voice soft. 'Don't beat yourself up for not knowing all the answers. You don't always have to know who you are. You don't have to have the big picture, or know where you're heading. Sometimes it's enough just to know what you're going to do next.'
For a while I don't say anything. I let her words run through my head, like cool water on a headache.
'And what am I going to do next?' I say at last, with a hopeless shrug.
'You're going to help me shell the beans for lunch.' She sounds so matter-of-fact I can't help half smiling.
That's pretty comforting, isn't it? :)
Haha.. The morning after I started the book:
7am, My younger sis woke up for school and found me and my panda eyes, still up reading it. Haha~~
YIKES! Haha... Damn, I read wayyy too slow. XD

I forgot when I read it but it's pretty good. =)
Haha.. I do that too. Read through the night, refusing to sleep. I'll remember to bring "For One More Day" the next time we meet.
