KING KONG~ ROAR!

Well, I just came back from watching KING KONG and it was Gooood... 'cept some parts which didn't make sense.

(This is the part I start talking to you about it like you've watched it already and ruin it all for you. Not that it CAN be ruined. It's not like you don't know the story...)

*okay, seriously, stop reading. It WILL ruin it for you. I"M SERIOUS! Proceed at own risk...


Anyway, first thing's first.

KING KONG IS SO CUTE! He's like a little boy!! A 5 year old!
Haha.. It was so funny the way he pushed Ann down again and again and again and you get the point. And he was ever so protective! ~Save the maiden in distress eh, Kong?~

Right, so now, the part that didn't make sense.
Why did the dinosaur go after SMALL(really really REALLY small) prey when it already had something in its mouth? I mean, imagine yourself eating a HUGE piece of chicken. Yummy yum yum; then here comes an ant. WOW! AN ANT! Would you:
A. Drop the chicken in your mouth and run after the ant or
B. Continue eating the chicken, and leave the ant alone?

Well, if you chose A, umm... *speechless* are ants really that tasty?
Hmm... Maybe beauty really does attract beasts.

Okay, and the end was just so sad! Why'd the have to kill Kong? Let him LIVE! You'd think Kong, who survived a fight with 3 dinosaurs would survive a few bullets. But no.... Okay! So it wasn't a FEW bullets, STILL! LET HIM LIVE! LET HIM LIVE! (group of people chanting outside empire state building) "Let Kong live! Let Kong live!" Haha...

And after he fell of the building and died, was half hoping the girl'd jump off too...(So people tell me I'm a sadist, now you know) I mean, maybe she'll feel SO sad, she'd rather die? She WAS standing at the edge of the building after all. Inside I was screaming "JUMP!! JUMP!!!!!!!! DIE WITH KONG! (He doesn't deserve to die alone) JUMP!!! NOW!!"
Was kinda hoping she'd jump, then when the guy, Jack arrived and saw her jumping, he'd rush over and JUMP (opps?) too! So what if it's not a happy ending, it was never a happy ending to begin with anyway. With Kong dead and all..

Best line of the show (that made me laugh at OTHER parts of the movie coz it kept coming into my head... Couldn't help myself) :

"The only thing that could have made that footprint is... (pause)

the abominable snowman."

HAHAHAHAHA!!!

* Okay, so maybe the original movie WAS like that.. Let's go back in time and change that director's mind! Come on! The only thing standing between us and saving kong is but that time machine you're about to build! No biggie.

A Date with Chris~

Yesterday, I went to Sunway Piramid on a date with Christine, possibly the only sane person since everyone else didn't want to go. Don't ask me! I wouldn't know why either!
(and can you believe Darell said ice skating is Boring??)

Anyway, we went to the cinema to buy movie tickets. We wanted to watch Narnia, but were thinking there wouldn't be tickets left anyway since it WAS the first day.
So, we conjoured up a few plans and umm.. rules.
Plan A : Buy Narnia tickets!
If that doesn't work....
Plan B : Buy tickets for Perhaps Love(it's U! Interesting...)
Plan C : Just go ice skating.

Rule one : Must be good seats, at least 3 rows from screen.
Rule two --- Wait! We didn't have rule two!

Yea, so we were VERY surprised to find that we could buy tickets for Narnia and they were good seats too! Actually there were around 6 tickets all together(which means everyone COULD have watched it with us on the FIRST day) but we only needed 2 so there.

After that we went ice skating and I met Shan Shan! Oooo!!
Also got my leg hurt. Ouch. There's a huge gash at the back of my leg now... Sigh~ Think it's coz my left leg kept rubbing against the back of the skates. Oh well... It didn't look that bad when I first saw it! But when i got home and looked at it again... OH MY GOSH WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS?!?! (it's really red and about 3cm long.. Yikes!)No wonder it hurt so much. Well, at least I had fun! Right?

We also managed to buy Chris a few earings and a pretty necklace. Also bought younger sis a christmas gift~! Sshh.. Won't tell you what it is coz she DOES read my blog. Wanted to buy elder sis a gift too, but didn't see anything suitable.

After Narnia, we treated outselves to some Baskin Robins! Yummy! But a little too much. Haha.. We both felt like exploding after that... KABOOM! Haha...

It was really fun going out with Chris. She's really nice to talk to. Good company.

Oh! Before I forget, Narnia was GREAT! Christine said it's like the book! VERY much like the book! That's nice!! I haven't read it yet, so i have to read it soon!
Lucy is so cute. Chris told me she's just like she imagined.
Oh! after the movie, ppl clapped and Chris and I did too! Whoa! First
time I clapped in a cinema. COOL~

Finally! All my exams are over! YIPPEE!! *screams*

We had accounts yesterday and the Asean scholarship selection test the day before. The asean thing was pretty tiring. Was half asleep during accounts... Opps...

Anyway, now that that's done, let me scream a little about Holiday on Ice-Holllywood! Truth to be told, we were a little late for it... Just a little. Felt so bad walking to my seat 'coz we had to walk in front of others... I"M SO SORRY!! I would have hated it if it was me! I hit my legs at that cup holder a few times anyway, so I guess I've already gotten my payback. Haha..
I LOVED The audition, Pop culture, The silent movie, The dance musical and the pretty lights in Fantasy. Haha... Pretty pretty.

Pop culture was really good! Actually got my feet tapping! And LOVED the can can! How do they move on ice like they're not wearing skates at all!?!??!

The silent movie was cute! Very funny.
Didn't really like how they changed the Moulin Rouge song - 'Come What May'... Oh well...
Too bad some skaters fell... And what a pity!! It looked pretty empty to me! Plus no one screamed, just clapped, so whenever I wanna scream or if I really do, I'd be the only one... Okay, okay, so my sis did scream with me at SOME parts. But really, there was hardly any screaming.

That reminds me of those kids sitting 3 seats above me... They kept screaming and screaming and Ooh gosh my ears and won't they stop already?... They were sceaming at nothing actually... I mean, they were even screaming during the intermission! Haha... :)

Okay, that's it then.

So anyway, I've just realised that the closer you are to me, the more I torture you. Yup! I don't know! I mean, look at Yingxu! I slap her practically everyday! Haha!!
Well, other than that, I also make you do things for me if you're a close friend. Haha!! See what I mean by friends are slaves? (but of course, you'll never know I'm actually USING you 'coz I'd make it sound like a FAVOUR!)
Stop gasping! It's not like I do it on purpose! It's a habit! I'm so used to it, it's umm.. NORMAL for me. Yup, I never really knew I was making others my SLAVES untill my dear Yingxu told me. SHE found out...

Okay, so now you think you're not close to me huh! Just because I've never hit you before... Umm.. Lesse... I think there ARE a few exceptions... Let's take my ballet friends for example. I don't think I hit them... 'cept for Carmen on her birthday(kinda slapped her. Don't worry! I don't hit hard!)... Yea... This is probably because I hit people when I'm crazy. Yup. And when I go for ballet, they're usually CRAZIER than I am, so I get pretty normal.
