Day with lovexu

Haha... From now on, Yingxu shall be forever more be known as... Lovexu. (laughs hysterically)

Anyway, went to Yingxu's house('coz don't think i can run in taman jaya-the park near my house. Besides, it's more fun when you run with someone else!) just now to practise my running. Well, actually I just wanted to see how fast I am. Not THAT fast really. Tried to run faster, but it would seem that it(however fast 'it' is) is my maximum speed. Haha... Oh well. It's all about limits!

After that, we went 'home' (because it started drizzling) and Yingxu started 'showing off' her skills on the piano. Wow. Drats. If only i could play like that. Especially my sight reading...= lousy.
Trying to improve though. No worries, I'll get it one day. One day....

Then, Lovexu's mum came home from playing badminton. It wasn't raining and she 'challenged' us... Well, what do you do when someone challenges you?!?! You accept it!! Oh yes, we did. haha... So once again, we walked over to the park. Woohoo!! That was fun-running with lovexu and her mum...

Then, Lovexu and I sat on the see-saw. I felt like i was FIVE again!! That was SOOOO FUN! BEING A KID IS SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! FUN FUN FUN!(Don't worry, not many people in the park. Besides, i don't see anything wrong with too perfectly NORMAL teenage girls sitting on the see....-saaaw...okay fine. So maybe it's a little weird, but you don't know what you're missing!!! Oh boy!) The see-saw was one of the more modern versions. No, not like the ones we had to sit on when we were little kids. Nope. Not that plank with tyres under your butt so it hurts when you smash down. No no no... It was one of those see-saws with springs in the middle, so you won't exactly touch the ground. NO BUTTACHE!! haha...
After that, shh... don't tell anyone... I sat on the slide! Wow! The one that goes round and round and me likie! I remember I've always wanted to sit on one of those since forever! I think I've only sat on it once before, when I was just a little girl...(I asked my mother, what would i be...Would I be PRETTY? Would I be RICH? Here's what she said, Okay fine.)
So anyway, I'm small enough to fit! YAY! See! It's not so bad being short after all!! So now, Yingxu's the one who's vertically challenged! Hah! HAH! HAH!!!

Oh yea, then Yingxu's mum taught us how to play a game which requires A LOT of hopping on ONE foot. Ouch! My right foot!!

Okay then, not supposed to be online.
Till next time!
They SOOO should make BIGGER slides for US. oh yes. Yes.....

*Darell = Loveyeng... Pronounce as Loving! :)

continuation of post before...

Okay, yonger sis wanted to use the com just now, so didn't manage to finish writing. Then i went for add maths tuition and so... haha...

Anyway, after class, Tomato and I started to convince Susu to take the exam. Well, the 'C sisters' umm, (we're not exactly sure if they passed or failed) and she told me they decided not to take the exam. In my opinion, Susu has enough determination and passion for ballet to go for the exam and felt it a waste if she didn't try. Besides, i was pretty sure she wanted to take the exam too.
So, we stood there, the three of us, Tomato and I telling Susu all her good points and encouraging her.
She was uncertain at first, but in the end she gave in. We were going to ask our ballet teacher her opinion... Once again, we went into the lif and up up up we went.
Outside the room, Susu was nervous. She suggested that we asked teacher for her, but we said no. She has to do this herself.

Inside, we aproached teach and susu asked her whether she could take the exam if she worked really really hard. The answer hit us fast and hard.

"No."

My heart shattered into a million pieces right then. I didn't expect this to happen! I felt as though it was me that was turned down. Teacher then explained that Susu was born that way. She's too stiff. I think maybe her hips are too small, that's why. I didn't know how to react. I just... stood there. Susu nodded and we left hurriedly.

Susu can't take the major exams. Well, at least it's not her fault she can't take the exam... she was born that way right? This is so unfair.

Life is unfair.

*At least she can still take the grades exams.

Charmaine

Charmaine is one of my ballet friends. She was the shortest once upon a time, but now, she's caught up to Carmen(haha...) and whoppie! However she's still the skinniest but that's got nothing to do with what happened last Saturday(was too lazy to write then).

We went for lessons like usual and at the end of the lesson, we had to do pointe work. When we went to our bags, Charmaine(now also known as susu-you can check it out in her blog) whispered to me that she had bought new shoes. You see, she lost hers after we had our ballet mock exam.
Funny how someone's shoes can end up in your bag without you noticing... yup! When i took our 'my' pointe shoes, I realised that it was a little too pinkish and narrow to be my shoes...
"Charmaine, are these your shoes?" I asked uncertainly.
She took one look at it and started screaming

"Li Eeeeee!!!! I bought new shoes!!!!"

"Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!!!!"
Then, suddenly, "Hey! So where are my shoes??" *gasp* *panic* uh-oh...

Charmaine(I'm soooo sorry! [pointe shoes costs quite a lot]) offered me her new shoes. wow! That was so nice of you Susu.. I didn't want it though. She had gotten 2 and a half B, and if i'm not mistaken, mine is 2 and a half C. so it would be narrower. She insisted me on trying anyway so i did. It was as expected, a little tighter than mine. Then, i asked her if she had break in the shoes and she said a little. But when I tried to bend it, it hardly moved. I can't dance with these!! So, I just had to tell teacher that I didn't have my shoes...
"Where are my shoes?!?!"
In the end, we asked the reception and she 'magically' produced my pointe shoes. Great.. It has been here all along??
The big question of the day: How did Charmaine's shoes end up in my bag? Our bags weren't even together on the exam day! Weird...
We're dealing with evil forces here people, brace yourselves...haha...

The vertically challenged!

Today, I stood beside my younger sis's friend, Wei Jian(If i'm not wrong) for just a while and he manages to notice my height.

"Cool! I'm taller than you!" he exclaimed.

Well, I for one don't see anything wrong with being short and certainly do not see anything cool
about being taller than someone either, so I asked (coolly of course): "And what exactly is so cool about being taller than me?"

He didn't answer. He didn't need to. What he did was (well, i would say impressive but since I AM short...) evil and worse than mere words. He walked over to the other side so that I was standing in between him and his other friend then shouted:

"Hey Kwan Seng! Gimme a high five!"

Pak~ Right above my head. Great...

Me? Run?

Bad news people... I'm DOOMED!! AGAIN.
I've got to run in front of the whole school on sports day! Noooooooo...

What 'wonderful' luck i have...

It all started on that faithful day (well, yesterday) ... I was half sleeping (almost everyone is falling asleep in class nowadays...dunno why) in class. Then, suddenly, Christine Chew(no, not Cheah) came in and asked for me. I jolted up right and walked out wondering what it was all about. I mean, people hardly ever find for me!

Outside, I was asked to run for our house. I said NO. Obviously.
But, they insisted on me joining coz well, to tell you the truth, they can't find anyone else who's willing to do so... (trails off) [I'm the last choice?!?!]
They(Christine and Samantha) begged and begged and begged and went down on their knees and kissed my mud covered shoes but i stood my stand.
Okay okay, fine... they didn't beg and they didn't go down on their knees blah blah... They just stood there and told me their little dilemma. 'No one is running for the 100m dash - please run - no biggie, says Sam, she's also in one of the events - other people rejected...'
Kind hearted little me said:"....O...kay....la...."(the 'la' shows that I was still unsure) and they wrote my name down.

Regretted my actions immediately after I sat down and told Lili what happened. What if i'm at least a meter behind everyone?? the LAST? the pathetic little girl at the end running slower than... a chicken.(Do chickens run fast?)
Anyway, then i thought, okay, nevermind. I'll just try my best anyway... maybe my best wouldn't be that bad, and you know, no biggie.

~The bad luck~

Today, Si Yi came and gave me a slip that said i was in the 4X100m race... I was shocked! What?!? I thought i was in the 100m dash! This changes everything! Now, if i run too slow, i'll affect the result! What terrors await me!! sigh...
What's even worse is, I'm not even in the sukan saringan, so i don't get to practise or myb you know, get kicked out from the sports day programme or something...

I'm afraid I'll-
a. Drop the baton(if there's going to be one)
b. Fall down...stumble actually
c. Run tooooooooo s...l...o...w....
d. Everything else
e. Embarrass myself in front of the whole school. *gasp*

Oh well, guess the only thing I can do now is... run?

p.s. no, this post has nothing to do with the one i wrote on the 23rd of June.(that was about the SPM!!!! IT"S COMING!)
p.p.s. Wish me luck!

COOOOOL

Yesterday, went to watch MPO in KLCC with Xuxu, Flo, Darell and Shrek. They had the London Philharmonic Choir! Cool. They were AWESOME! LOVED it when they all sang together!! It's not my first time there, so I wasn't exactly BLOWN away by the hall. Did however 'flew away' the first time I entered that ever so grand hall.

Anyway, as Caleb said in his blog (go read it!), it's usually pin drop silence when the orchestra is playing. Duh. haha... I didn't dare move! Literally! Well, I did move a little, and hope I didn't distroy the music for anyone...
The choir = WOW!

I like the string section, the way all their bow move in unison. Up, down, up, down. Florence likes the woodwind section.(I like the flute too)

Oh, we had Nando's for dinner!(before the concert) I'm NEVER(okay, maybe not never, just not till I get my guts back) going to get "hot peri-peri" again!!! Flo and I shared one dish. Thanks to Darell, we ordered "Hot peri-peri". We wanted to order "Mild peri-peri", but Darell went all,
"What? The whole point of coming here is to..."
So, we ordered hot instead... Darell also managed to convince Shrek to order "Extra Hot peri-peri". She said it wasn't spicy and we trusted her...Poor Shrek! He ate till his face turned all red!! Like he was going to cry!!
Darell herself had the "Extra Hot peri-peri" and Yingxu got the same as Flo and I.
Yingxu...crazy gal. She kept pouring that Chili thing on her chicken and side dishes... she was practically crying but that didn't stop her... said she liked that feeling(whatever that feeling is... Suffering from burning tongue?!?)
Flo was okay with the "Hot peri-peri". Wow. I, on the other hand have never been good at eating spicy food, so as you might have already guessed, I suffered...quite a bit, though in my opinion, not as much as Yingxu did. (me - tongue burned, ear hurt...)

Anyway, the coolest part of the outing was when we were in the way back on the LRT.
You see, there were these two french guys talking to each other in french. Since Shrek knows a little French, I mouthed "What are they saying?" to him, expecting him to be the translator, but he mouthed back "I don't know..."
Oh well... I thought.

Suddenly, Shrek sits down beside the french guy. I thought he was probably tired and wanted to rest. THEN, he turns and starts talking to the french guy in FRENCH!!! WOW! The french guy was so surprised and so were we. (I wouldn't have done that...) Since I know almost no french, I didn't know what they were saying. (Please visit Caleb's blog to know what was said - there's a funny part at the end, don't miss it!)
The french guy however did ask us (Darell, me and Flo) if we spoke french (in english). We shook our heads... obviously. Sorry... SORRY! I DON"T KNOW FRENCH!!!

Wow Shrek. I'm STILL in awe. That was so brave, so bold, so daring! A salute to you! haha..!!

Interpretation of my dream...

Whoa... remember the nightmare I had with the teeth and all?
Well, my friend (Mun Wai) has this dream book (says he) and he looked it up for me. It would seem that losing teeth means... prepare yourselves...(drumroll)

"Loosing your youth and getting older"

GASP! I'M GETTING OLD!!! I'm so old you can't even find a black strand of hair on my head!!! Okay, I'm just exaggerating... my head is a big fat ball of black... haha... (laughs)
Oh well, growing up isn't all bad right?
You get to drive (not really really REALLY looking forward to that.)
You get to drink? Umm...
You get to....blow more candles on your birthday?
You get to earn your own money!?!?!?
You won't get scolded by your teachers! Aha! Oh, but you get scolded by your boss...
You get to pay for your own phone and internet bills...Aiks!
You start to worry too much....

Result:
You start to get wrinkles, white hair, all kinds of old-age sickness...blah. You know the sort.

*sob sob* I don't wanna grow up!!! Hey, that reminds me of Simple Plan's song,"Grow up"... I love that song!!

Nightmare

Yesterday, I had a really really weird and well, kinda...okay, very scary dream (to me).
So anyway, in the dream I was playing with my teeth with my tongue and I felt two of my teeth shake! Oh no! To be precise, those teeth were on the bottom jaw. (I have this metal string? Line? Whatever you call it...on the bottom jaw [on 5 of my teeth] so it won't go out of place. No, I don't wear retainers on the bottom jaw... I do however have retainers for the upper jaw. Oh, so anyway, I had this metal thingy in the dream too... the two teeth were one of those 5 teeth...)

Okay, I know this might not seem scary now, but just wait and see what happens.

Since I didn't want my teeth to fall off (Nooooo...) I tried to push it back in place... It was falling front so I pushed it back to where it belonged. If you didn't get what I mean, umm... leave it.

...

This was when the worst possible thing happened. I just pushed it back when... IT CAME OUT!!! Just slipped right out of their original slots! I mean, I had put no pressure on those teeth when I pushed it. Really! None at all!! It just fell out! GAH!!!!!!! I held the two teeth in my hand and stared. They had came out with the roots and all. (I know how this looks like coz I've got one at home. Sitting innocently in my 'pot' of teeth. Got it from getting my braces- sacrificed 3 'soldiers' for this 'perfect' mouth of teeth I have now. Unfortunately, I only managed to get one. I probably forgot to ask the second time...) Ok, this is kinda illogical because teeth don't fall out if the roots are still in contact but this is a dream, so maybe this happens in dreamland.

Back to the story...
I didn't know what to do! PANIC!!! I tried to put it back in, but it just wouldn't fit nicely! It just... fell... fell out again! *trembles with eyes opened wide, staring at teeth between fingers* Can you imagine that? I had two holes in my...my...mouth! Well, obviously those weren't milk teeth (hello! I’m 17!! Milk teeth?!?! HAH!) , so they won't grow back. What do I do now?!?! I can't live with holes in my mouth!!! The thought of not having teeth at that particular spot forever taunted me. I thought of my orthodontist and seeking her advice... do I get fake teeth?

The end. I don't remember anything after that. Maybe I woke up or had another dream...

And now, the question... what does the dream mean? Am I subconsciously telling myself to take care of my teeth properly so that all that money used for getting my teeth done should not go to waste? Not to mention about 2 years of 'suffering'... (I'm exaggerating. If you want to get braces, just go for it. It’s really quite fine. No biggie.) Is that what it means? Who knows...?

Well, I think it has something to do with a quiz I did before I went to sleep... ah yes, the quiz.
You see, one of my friends sent me this mail saying they have this quiz that will determine your future love life blah blah blah... and I saw the link and it was www.crush007.com which is actually a fake. (I've gotten it once) You answer the quiz; they get all the information about your first crush, your biggest crush, blah blah... and send it to the person who sent you that mail. Yup. Pretty evil. But what does that have to do with the dream right? Okay... there was this question which asked: "what turns you on?" (I answered the quiz to give my friend a good laugh [what with the fake answers and all...]) and I answered:
"Obviously perfect teeth turns me on. Hahaha... that's why I got braces right?"
No, that's not true. Perfect teeth does not turn me on. It was a joke you doink. Though... I would probably be turned off by really really horrible teeth...

"Do you have perfect teeth?"

Independence Day

I FINALLY watched Independence Day yesterday.
I know, I know, that's a pretty old show, but I didn't watch it back then...
Anyway, LOVED it. Gooood show.
"I don't want you to catch a cold!"
"What did you say?"
"I said people lose faith..."
"No, the other part."
"I don't want you to catch a cold?" (hahaha)

"My dad. A total genius."

The coolest part was when the aliens first attacked. what with that green light and ka-boom!! A whole building goes bye bye. haaha...
Stupid people and their posters...
"WELCOME TO EARTH! MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME"
Yea right.

The saddest part was when Eagle 20 when up that alien ship. Sacrificed himself for the people, for mankind...Wow. What a brave man. But of course, since this is all fictional, (haha) there's no point crying over it.
"Not until the fat lady sings. You got me?"
I do wonder what happened AFTER they beat the aliens. Yes, yes, we all know about the fireworks and the celebration, but what next? I mean, everything is in ruins! What do you do with that? How do you remove all those umm... 'dead' buildings to make way for the new ones? That will certainly take a loooong time.
"But i don't hear the fat lady sing!"
"You're obsessed with the fat lady..."
And after that, will mankind start war against each other again? Hmm... we wonder.
